'Morphological Echo' (1934)
This image of a barren landscape includes a girl skipping rope. This female figure appears in many of Dali's paintings with a nostalgic reference to a bell tower in his sister's school yard. In this piece, the young girl appears three times, in the form of a bell hanging from a bell tower, as the configuration of a rock formation and as herself.
