Wow. For anyone who loves the unusual, the beautiful and the whimsical, here is an attractive reproduction of the classic Dali melting wristwatch. I recommend it. A further recommendation: This timepiece has plenty of flair and swagger, but the hands are diminutive. So you should seriously consider the larger size. It fits comfortably on my 7” wrist with a reasonable heft, and does not look or feel cheap at all. You will get compliments. I’ve only worn it for a day, and already have! Highlights: The winder (or crown) is round with no ridges, in keeping with the original. The buckle also harkens back, distinctively. The numerals are plainer than you may see on other models, but still appropriately and appealingly stretched. (Dali Museum folks, please offer an option with Roman numerals! I’ll buy it!) One small downside: The leather strap is of lesser quality. Even the presentation packaging - a brushed silver, round tin with tasteful printing on the top and Dali Museum branding on the bottom - makes for an appealing keepsake for collectors and enthusiasts alike. All in all, this watch is shapely and delightful, and a terrific bargain. You won’t be disappointed. As for shipping, for an extra couple of dollars mine arrived quickly, well packaged, and in perfectly giftable shape. Of course, I’ll share it with the world - on my own wrist.
