Dali employed new visual dimensions to give this 1926 painting, 'Girl with Curls,' a dream like quality. It is evocative of his future Surrealist style. The girl is Galuchka, a fictitious Russian girl. In 1929 Dali met Gala, his real life Russian Galuchka and his future wife.
The high quality pigmented inks in this giclee process allow consistent quality for a life time and yield a high resolution with brilliant color, giving the appearance of an original oil painting. Mounted on a wooden stretcher and sold unframed, it can be hung as is, or add your own frame. Measures 21 inches x 26 inches. Produced and licensed by the Dali Museum, St. Petersburg.
